- Amidst Natural beautiful surroundings, The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Gachibowli spreads over 30 acres of land. It is situated in the premises of Hyderabad Central University, Gachibowli, under the urban agglomeration of Hyderabad within the Ranga Reddy District of Andhra Pradesh State, India. It was established in 1987. It is one among the 567 JNV’s established all over India, one in each district and functioning under an Autonomous Organization,”Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti”, New Delhi, which comes under ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, Government of India. It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Its main objective is to provide quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from rural areas irrespective of their socio-economic status, to promote national integration, to ensure minimum competency in three languages including english, and to act as a pace setting institution in the district where it is located.
